LEARNING TOGETHER

I’m Adriana Rodriguez (LMFT #84474) based in Sacramento, CA, a licensed therapist, university professor, private practice owner, nonprofit leader, and multipotentialite jefa with a passion for building systems that support healing, learning, and liberation. With over a decade of experience as a clinician and educator, I bring a culturally responsive, systems-informed approach to every space I step into.

I’ve led program development and professional learning initiatives that center emotional growth, cultural identity, and strong student relationships in both school and community settings. My work has spanned after-school program leadership, school-based mental health, and cross-sector collaboration with educators, clinicians, and community leaders. I’ve built initiatives from the ground up, from vision to implementation to sustained leadership. I don’t just imagine what’s possible, I help bring it to life.

In my private practice, I specialize in generational healing for first-gen, BIPOC, queer, and cycle-breaking adults, couples, and families across California. I also supervise and consult with other clinicians, educators, and professionals committed to culturally rooted, trauma-informed work.

Currently, I teach Family Systems and Sex and Gender Issues in Therapy at the University of San Francisco, and I’m the host of Entre Tías y Amiguis, a podcast for first-gen professionals, creatives, and community builders exploring identity, legacy, and healing across generations.

Whether I’m in a classroom, conference, consultation space, or cafecito circle, I lead with curiosity, cultural humility, and a commitment to sustainable, intergenerational change.

Let’s Learn, Unlearn, and Grow Together

As a therapist, educator, and speaker, I believe in the power of collective reflection. Whether I’m teaching first-gen students about identity and resilience, guiding professionals through trauma-informed practice, or helping families explore intergenerational healing, I design learning spaces that are personal, powerful, and practical.

Consultation areas include:

  • Supporting bilingual or first-gen supervisees

  • Culturally responsive case conceptualization

  • Trauma-informed care and burnout prevention
