HEALING TOGETHER

Adult Family Therapy for Connection, Repair, and Growth

Therapy for siblings, parent-child duos, and full family systems navigating change together.

You're not alone if your family relationships feel complicated. Whether you’ve grown apart, are stuck in old roles, or are carrying years of pain beneath the surface, adult family therapy offers a space to name what’s been hard and imagine what healing could look like.

You might not have known this kind of therapy even existed, but you’re here now. And that says something powerful.

Let therapy help your family break patterns and build connections

Adult family therapy is a space where grown siblings, parents, and adult children, or full family unit,s can come together to explore old dynamics, repair trust, and rewrite relational patterns. Whether you're navigating estrangement, cultural differences, caregiving responsibilities, or family secrets that no one talks about, this work can offer a way forward.

Together, we’ll make room for the grief, love, conflict, and longing that often sit side by side. We’ll look at what’s shaped each person, name the legacies that may be showing up uninvited, and build new ways of relating rooted in honesty, compassion, and clarity.

A family therapist can help you:

  • Make sense of conflict cycles and repeated ruptures

  • Navigate the tension between collectivistic family roots and the individualistic culture you now live in

  • Rebuild trust and communication between siblings, parents, or in-laws

  • Explore boundaries and enmeshment with compassion and clarity

  • Process grief, caregiving, or immigration-related stress

  • Unpack family roles and responsibilities passed down across generations

  • Address unspoken pain or secrets within the family

  • Move from estrangement to reconnection (when safe and mutual)

  • Develop new rituals, boundaries, and shared language to stay connected

This work can begin with a dyad (like a parent and one adult child or two siblings) and expand as needed. It’s flexible, relational, and deeply intentional.

In therapy, we may explore:

  • Boundaries, enmeshment, and emotional over-responsibility

  • Sibling conflict, comparison, and old loyalty binds

  • Cultural values and intergenerational shifts in meaning and expectation

  • Parentification and invisible labor

  • Communication breakdowns and passive dynamics

  • Power dynamics shaped by gender, age, or cultural roles

  • Unspoken grief, family secrets, or trauma

  • Immigration history and the long-term impacts of family separation

My offering to you and your family is bilingual, bicultural, and grounded in systems thinking

My lived experience as a first-gen therapist and immigrant shapes the care I offer. I bring a deep understanding of intergenerational trauma, cultural nuance, and flexible systems work that adapts to your family’s structure, and cultural values.

Adult Family Therapy Can Help You Reconnect, Rebuild, and Reimagine

You might feel nervous. That’s okay. Many families come to this work unsure of what’s possible. But you’re here because something inside you still believes it’s worth trying. Together, we’ll move from silence to shared story, from avoidance to understanding, from disconnection to repair.
