As a therapist, my job is multifaceted. I want to help each client better recognize and unlearn their limiting beliefs, and the survival mechanisms that sabotage every step they take and keep them in cycles of distress and dissatisfaction.

If  we decide to work together,I will give you a safe place to express yourself, I may offer you a different perspective, I may challenge you and I may suggest alternatives, but you will always be in the driver’s seat. I will provide an honest, safe, supportive and confidential space for you to looking deeper into the forces that drive your behavior, as you develop a better relationship with your self in a way that honors your family history, your inner gifts and intuition.

As a culturally informed psychotherapist my work is guided by a sense of curiosity + cultural humility + compassion.

My approach to my work is eclectic. While I have guiding theoretical approaches I like getting to know the unique needs of my clients and use the approach that best address their needs. In my work utilize a combination of Humanistic, Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioral, and Mindfulness techniques (Learn more about what these terms mean). I am an LGBT affirming therapist. I hold space in my practice for queer individuals and couples, including all sexual orientations, genders, and family/relationship structures.
